About Us
The Utah Center for Psychological Services is a private practice located in the greater Salt Lake City area. Our vision and mission is to be Salt Lake City's premier center for high quality psychological evaluations. We serve diverse clients for a variety of concerns. As a result, we conduct a broad spectrum of psychological assessments to address referrals for autism, ADHD, trauma, dissociative, personality, dementia, and learning disorders across the lifespan. We value and respect others' autonomy (both employees and clients alike). We implement a strengths-based approach with our clients, focusing on the individual strengths to guide recommendations for accommodations, treatment, and/or support. We also are committed to ongoing learning, and we implement a developmental model for training our staff members. Our goal is to find a balance between supporting our team members while also respecting their autonomy and expertise.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated clinical psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients dealing with a variety of mental health issues. This position is a dedicated evaluation position (meaning the psychologist would primarily be conducting psychological evaluations), but there are opportunities to take on a few therapy cases each week, if desired.
This is a full time position (i.e., 40 hours per week), but the schedule is flexible. This leaves room to work a four-day week, work evenings and weekends, or a standard 9-5 M-F schedule. This is a hybrid position, wherein most of the work will be done remotely (i.e., intake, collateral interviews, report writing, and feedback), but some work (i.e., testing) must be done in person at our office. As such, this position is ideal for highly independent individuals. In order to fulfill the 40-hour weekly requirement, psychologists will be assigned a caseload of eight evaluations per month. However, caseloads may be adjusted if needed.
The pay is $50/hour. In addition to a flexible schedule, we offer other benefits, including two weeks of paid time off (accumulated each pay period), 6 paid holidays, and $300/month health insurance stipend. We also provide coverage for malpractice insurance.
Start date for this position is November 1, 2024, but there is flexibility for this position to start earlier or later if needed. This position requires a doctorate in clinical psychology (or related field) and licensure through DOPL. Pre-licensed (postdoctorate) candidates are also welcome to apply, though the pay structure would be different for these candidates until licensure is obtained.
