Summary
The Children’s Center Utah (TCCU) is seeking a full-time, licensed psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health services to very young children and their families, and to train as the Co-Psychology Internship Training Director (Co-Training Director.) This is a leadership track position where the individual will work towards proficiency in our organization’s clinical models, reflective supervision practices, and processes and procedures through providing direct therapeutic services to clients, (including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, family and dyadic therapy, and psychology testing.) This individual will also work directly with the current Psychology Training Director to learn the management and oversight of the internship training program, with the goal of eventually taking over as the sole training director.
Clinicians at TCCU work with a multidisciplinary team and receive training and support in multiple evidence-based treatments, including Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Extensive professional training and regular supervision, including reflective supervision, is provided to all clinical staff. Clientele of TCCU includes children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges, early childhood trauma, and children with developmental delays and their families. Successful candidates will have clinical skills and a passion to work with infants, toddlers and preschool aged children using evidence-based trauma treatments.
