Life Matters Counseling & Psychological Services is a growing, client-centered practice dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality mental health care. We are seeking skilled and motivated psychology residents or licensed psychologists to join our team and support individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a psychology resident or licensed psychologist to provide in-person and/or telehealth therapy sessions. This position offers flexibility, competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or mindfulness-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Adhere to HIPAA and ethical guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
  • Participate in team collaboration, case consultations, and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Active licensure as a psychologist in Utah or eligibility for licensure within a reasonable timeframe
  • Psychology residents must be working toward licensure under supervision
  • Experience working with individuals, couples, or families in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and client-centered approach to therapy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms (if applicable)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $45-$70 per session (based on licensure & experience)

  • $600 CE stipend per year for continuing education
