Part-Time Licensed Psychologist (Psychological Assessment) Flexible Schedule | Flat-Rate Compensation | Hybrid Position

Earn $1,200–$2,400 per evaluation while maintaining the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.

Utah Center for Psychological Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our growing assessment team. This part-time W-2 position is ideal for psychologists who enjoy conducting high-quality psychological evaluations but don't want the administrative burden of running a private practice.

Our psychologists focus on what they do best: providing thoughtful, evidence-based evaluations, while our administrative team handles billing, intake scheduling, insurance, and other operational details.

This position includes approximately 2–4 evaluations per month, though referral volume may fluctuate over time and additional opportunities may become available. Depending on the mix of evaluation types completed, clinicians typically earn approximately $2,400–$7,200 per month.

Start date is flexible.

About Utah Center for Psychological Services

Utah Center for Psychological Services is a specialty psychological assessment practice serving individuals, families, attorneys, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations throughout Utah. Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based evaluations that answer important clinical and legal questions while offering practical recommendations that improve lives.

We believe great clinicians thrive when they are trusted. Rather than micromanaging our psychologists, we provide the resources, consultation, and administrative support they need while respecting their professional judgment and autonomy.

We also believe quality matters more than volume. Our goal is to provide psychologists with the support and flexibility needed to produce evaluations they are proud to sign, while maintaining realistic expectations and sustainable workloads.

Position Overview

This position involves conducting one or both of the following types of evaluations.

Psychological Evaluations for Veterans & Active Duty Military Members

These evaluations are completed for individuals receiving treatment in an inpatient behavioral health setting.

Compensation: $1,200 per completed evaluation

Typical clinician time: Approximately 8–10 hours

Typical workflow

  • Telehealth intake
  • Psychological testing completed in person using iPads and Q-interactive software
  • Telehealth feedback session
  • Report completed remotely

These referrals move quickly. Clinicians should generally be able to complete the intake and testing within approximately one week of referral, provide feedback within two weeks of referral, and finalize the report approximately one week later.

To improve efficiency, psychologists have access to a HIPAA-compliant AI-assisted report writing platform designed to streamline report writing while maintaining full clinician oversight and responsibility for the final report.

Parental Fitness Evaluations

These comprehensive evaluations are completed for attorneys and family courts.

Compensation: $2,400 per completed evaluation

Typical clinician time: Approximately 15–18 hours

Typical workflow

  • Intake conducted via telehealth or in person at our West Jordan office
  • Psychological testing and parent-child observations completed in person at our West Jordan office
  • Collateral interviews conducted remotely
  • Report writing completed remotely

The typical timeline from intake through report completion is approximately one month.
